The vision behind Glad_Senses

Glad_Senses was born out of the conviction that design should not only be functional, but also sensual and sustainable. Our limited edition objects combine cutting-edge 3D printing technology with centuries-old craftsmanship from Nepal. The result: works of art that tell stories in exclusive spaces while meeting the highest aesthetic standards.

A unique spatial composition is transformed into an object that is not only aesthetically pleasing but

also functional. Reinterpretating the identity of a carpet as a continuum from art to functional seating and wellbeing.

About Guy Lafranchi

Born in Bern in 1966. Studied architecture at the ETH Zurich, graduating in 1994. Has been working privately since 1995, Atelier Guy Lafranchi Bern. Since 1995, collaboration with Lebbeus Woods (1940-2012). Since 2006 Director of RIEA.ch, Bern (Research Institute for Experimental Architecture). 2006 - 2024 Professor of Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences Bern. Company Glad Ltd since 2010. Guy Lafranchi has presented his Art work internationally in the form of exhibitions, lectures and workshops. www.glad.ch
